Run to Rebuild Richmond 5K Race Description: Race is 9:00 a.m. March 20. This 5k run/walk race will start and finish at River Road United Methodist Church and will meander through the beautiful neighborhood of Sleepy Hollow. Awards will be presented to the top 3 overall male and female finishers as well as the top finishers for male and females in the following age categories: 10 & under, 11-18, 19-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, and 60 & over. Official timing and scoring will be done by Richmond Road Runners Club. The proceeds from the race will be donated to Rebuilding Together, which is a non-profit working in Richmond to preserve affordable housing and revitalize communities by providing free rehabilitation and critical repairs to the homes of low-income Richmonders. Fee: $25 Packet Pick-Up: Friday, March 19, 2010 from 11:00am - 1:00pm and 4:00pm - 7:00pm at the church Saturday, March 20, 2010 from 8:00 - 8:30am at the church Registration: You can register for the race online (for a minimal additional transaction fee) or on paper at the church in person up until Race Day at 8:30am. However, online registration will close prior to Race Day. Those registering late may not be guaranteed a t-shirt.
