Our guest speaker, Dave Johnson, retired Public Defender, will share on the topic “Mercy Over Judgment: A Gospel Response to Capital Punishment.”

Dave will reflect on the remarkable story of how, in 2021, Virginia — once second only to Texas in executions — became the first and only Southern state to abolish the death penalty. It will be an evening of meaningful conversation about justice, mercy, and faith.
