Christ The King

On Christ the King Sunday, Rev. Laura Fanizza explores the story of the repentant thief beside Jesus on the cross as a powerful picture of God’s grace. In a world that prizes earning and achievement, this man can do nothing to make up for his past, yet he dares to say, “Remember me,” and hears Jesus’ immediate “yes.” Rev. Laura reflects on grace as a gift we cannot earn, an offering God never forces on us, and a transforming presence that works from the inside out. Through images from everyday life, a simple breathing exercise, and the contrast between Jesus and the crowd at the crucifixion, she invites us to notice how God’s grace is already reaching out to us, changing our hearts and reshaping our relationships.
