Let Us Rejoice

Pastor Sarah Sealand reflects on Psalm 118’s “This is the day the Lord has made” alongside the story of the bent-over woman Jesus heals on the Sabbath. She explores how Christ meets us in “bad days,” turns burdened seasons into gifts of grace, and offers Sabbath not just as a rule to keep but as a sacred time to rest, be healed, and have our empty cups refilled. In the midst of storms and disrupted plans, Pastor Sarah invites us to receive this day as a gift from God, listen for Jesus’ voice in our own places of pain, and respond with praise and thanksgiving.
