What Do You Live For?

In the seventh and final message of "The Questions God Asks Us," Rhoda Howell opens with an update on Pastor Bert's recovery from surgery before turning to a question that gathers up everything the series has been building toward: what do you actually live for?

Preaching on Luke 12, she confesses her own lifelong struggle as a self-described "designated worrier," and unpacks the difference between worry and genuine concern, between chasing what we want and tending to what we actually need. Rhoda walks back through each question the series has asked, where are you, what are you looking for, where is your brother, do you want to be made well, who do you say that I am, and what are you doing here, showing how each one leads to this final one.

With warmth and conviction, she makes the case that living for the kingdom isn't about grand gestures. It's about small, faithful acts of love, like the ones River Road is about to practice together on Serve Day.
